My refrigerator stopped making ice so I called Folsom Lake Appliance. We have had them out before and are pleased with their service. They called when they were on their way and upon arrival quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted a fair price to replace the ice maker. As a business owner I understand that parts are marked up and companies don’t stay in business by working for free. What I don’t understand is when other reviewers complain when they find parts for less on the internet and then take the time to hurt the business by posting a negative review. DUH! Internet prices are wholesale prices and businesses cant warranty their work if they cant stay in business. I am a repairman in a different trade and I’m SURE I could have figured out the issue had I put enough time into it. This is called “value”. They diagnosed in 5 minutes what would have taken me 3 hours (and then hoped I ordered the right part off the internet). I’ve been down that road and paying $200 to have the job done quickly and correctly was worth every penny.
