4th of July is only a few days away, so it’s probably a good time to start making your plans. Nowadays people want to celebrate 4th of July with more than just the fireworks show at night. Luckily the Sacramento area is happy to oblige with all kinds of shows, events, and activities. Things like pancake breakfasts, rodeos, kids games, cook-offs, live shows, and a whole lot more. Where to Watch 2015 Fireworks in Sacramento

 – Sacramento Cal Expo Independence Day Celebration:
This year, they’re partnered with CBS Radio to bring fun for the entire family, including the largest-scale pyrotechnics display in the area. Doors open at 5:00 PM, admission is free, and they will have food and drinks for sale. If you just want to see the fireworks, find a spot along the Sacramento river near the tower bridge, and you should have a great view! For more info visit calexpo.com.

 

 – Roseville 4th of July Celebration 2015:
The Roseville Celebrations starts with a parade at 9am through downtown Roseville. Then from 10am – 1pm Royer Park has Carnival Games, Bounce Houses and Food Vendors. Finally watch the Roseville Fireworks at the Placer County Fairgrounds. Gate opens at 7, show starts around 9:30. For more info visit roseville.ca.us.

 

 – El Dorado Hills Annual Fireworks Jubilee July 3rd:
The El Dorado Hills Fireworks & Freedom concert begins at 7 PM, and then the fireworks will be starting at 9:30 PM. The concert will feature Blackburn Bullet and Apple-Z.  – Elk Grove Salute to the Red White & Blue:
A Salute to the Red, White, & Blue begins at 4 PM with Vendor Exhibits, followed by the Bike and Stroller Parade at 5:30 PM. Entertainment starts at 6 PM with Square Dancing, Beach Rock featuring Safety Orange, and a Welcome Ceremony at 7 PM. Firework display starts at 9:30 PM For more info check out elkgrovecity.org.

 

 – Folsom Pro Rodeo:
The 54th Annual Folsom Pro Rodeo featuring steer wrestling, barrel racing, and bull and bronc riding. There will be fireworks starting at 9:30pm on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of July.
