United Servicers Association 2013 ASTI Event

Next month, our very own Scott and Krystle McConnell will be attending the 21st annual Appliance Service Training Institute (ASTI) training event in Orlando, FL.  Presented by The United Servicers Association, the event will be held Wednesday, March 6th through Saturday, March 9th at the luxurious Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.  Not your ordinary technical conference, the ASTI is an unprecedented opportunity for appliance repair professionals to get together in a casual setting and learn from one another.  Over four days, appliance business owners and technicians will have the opportunity to attend classes, trainings, and seminars on servicing and repairing appliances from all the major brands, and how to more effectively run an appliance repair business.  Over 85 sessions will be offered, including best practices in customer service, appliance manufacturer service updates and hands-on training, interpersonal skills, financial management, leadership, and retail and service business management education.

The ASTI will offer the industry’s broadest and best-of-class technical and business management training, plus a trade show featuring a wide array of products and services.  Attendees will be exposed to information and resources which will help them to improve their skills, and increase their organization’s customer service and overall efficiency.  Interactive sessions will delve deep into topics that are on the minds of servicers today, and the Institute’s format allows the collective wisdom of attendees to be distilled into concrete, confidence building, actionable ideas that retailers and servicers take home with them.
