Whirlpool has issued a recall on select JennAir wall ovens due to a known issue that may cause burns. The defect is related to the roller rack when it is in the fully extended position. In its fully extended position, the rack can become disengaged, creating a risk of burns due to contact with the rack or spilled food.

Is My JennAir Oven Affected By the Recall?
The JennAir ovens affected by the recall include model numbers that begin with JJW2, JJW3 JMW2 or JMW3 and a serial number beginning with a D or F.

You can find the model and serial numbers for single and double ovens under the control panel, and for combination ovens, the model and serial number are located near the center vent of the lower oven.
Affected units include JennAir single wall ovens, double wall ovens, and combination microwave/ wall ovens. The oven units were sold in black, white, steel, and oiled bronze.
