The JennAir kitchen appliance company announced a new warranty policy effective April 2015. All JennAir products purchased on or after April 1, 2015 will be covered for two years following the date of purchase. This limited warranty covers all parts and labor under normal residential use. Individual products may provide additional coverage on specific parts or systems. To check the coverage on your appliance, find the warranty terms and conditions section in the back of your Use and Care manual. Additional coverage for specific component failures will be detailed in the warranty coverage literature.
If you have any repair issues, be sure to call an authorized JennAir repair company such as Lake Appliance Repair for warranty service. JennAir will only pay for repairs completed by an authorized service company.
What if I Purchased a JennAir Appliance in January, February, or March 2015?
The warranty typically begins on the date of purchase, but JennAir will accept date of installation or home closing with documentation as the new start date. If your product was purchased between January and March of 2015 but installed on or after April 2015, the 2 year warranty will be in effect as long as the proof of home closing or date of installation is provided to the customer care team at the time of registration.
