What better way to start the St. Patty’s Day weekend than with an old-fashioned St. Patrick’s Day Parade? Put on your finest greens as you enjoy traditional Irish and Highland dancers, pipe and drum bands, historic re-enactments, and much more. More than 1000 marchers will be there as the parade winds through the historic Old Sacramento landmark district.

If you are looking for some grown-up fun this St. Patty’s Day, then this event was made for you. This neighborhood party starts in Midtown at Dive Bar and features the area’s most popular watering holes. The only requirements are that you’re 21+, and you must wear green. See you at the party!

Enjoy this one-hour ride along the Sacramento River with face-painting, balloons, and of course, beautiful scenery featuring live narration about the history of the area.
